DESIGN SERVICES
"Where Beauty and Function Meet" is our design motto. We believe there
must be Beauty to please the eye and satisfy the soul; that the layout must be user
driven, have ease of maintenance and be sustainable to have Function; that one is
not complete without the other.
We offer different levels of design services, depending on the size and complexity
of the project you have in mind. Examples are:
The Sketch
- to scale, black & white,on letter or legal size paper
- plan view only, with very simple graphics & plant identification
- includes sufficient information to get the job done
- used for single component projects such as: perennial bed or shrub
border, walkway or patio, etc.
Construction Drawings
- to scale, black & white, paper size varies
- views from several different perspectives with detailed information
- used when a permit is required, e.g. deck, gazebo, etc. and/or to ensure
proper construction of landscape components by the contractor.
The Landscape Plan
- to scale, black & white, customized paper size
- plan view on a base plan with title block
- presentation quality graphics and detailed plant list
- may incorporate detail drawings & property or component relevent comments
- used primarily when the landscape project involves a large part or the whole
property and many different components are to be incorporated.
